A film written, acted, co-directed and co-edited with Sudden Flowers, a collective of young people affected by HIV/AIDS in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In this short, a family is struck with news that eventually destroys them. The young actor-writers, themselves children whose parents died from the epidemic, decided to wear masks to show how they had been treated by society after their parents died. This is the first in a series of four short films by Sudden Flowers called "The Mask Videos."
